Tamika Stewart is no average educator. She came to this work after a more traditional career path and hit the ground running. After spending several years working in New York as a classroom teacher, Tamika decided that she wanted to increase her influence and teacher knowledge of best practices by becoming an instructional coach. During that time she helped teachers to become reflective and responsive to student needs. Later, she set her sights on administration and became and elementary school principal. Now, Tamika takes all that she has learned servicing schools across districts on the East coast and uses it to inform her work continuing to help educators develop. You can watch our sit down here.
